Upcycled Life is the new, creative endeavor by artist friends Francine Bush & Beckie Webster.
The two started Upcycled Life to share their love of vintage, and well as their desire to create from materials cast aside or forgotten.
Their upcycled pieces are fresh, fun, and give new life and new style to items otherwise abandoned.
As defined in the Sustainability Dictionary, Upcycling is converting a forgotten item or material into something of improved function or aesthetics in its “second life”.
The founding partners of McDonaugh & Braugard Design Chemistry first coined the term upcycle, in 1995. MBDC is a consultancy to help clients eliminate waste through their innovative design.
